Victoria Lee, Chair

chair@lylg.org.uk

Having enjoyed a successful year as Vice Chair in 2008, Victoria has now been elected to the post of Chair for 2009 - 2010.

Victoria's responsibilites for the year include liaising with existing contributors and negotiating new sponsorship deals. This year Victoria will be focusing largely on publicity for the LYLG, with an emphasis on successful communications to members. She will also work with Past Chair, Jude Perkins, to continue raising awareness of the LYLG amongst junior Bar associations worldwide, including the International Bar Association and the European Young Bar Association. Victoria is looking forward to working with her new Vice Chair, Kezia, and is keen to use Committee skills to ensure the LYLG members are receiving the most from their membership. Overall, she is looking forward to a very exciting 2010 for the LYLG.

After graduating from Bristol with a Law degree in 2003, Victoria enjoyed a couple of gap years travelling around the world and a stint doing the LPC at BPP Law School before ending up at Rooks Rider Solicitors in Clerkenwell, where she qualified last year into the Private Client Department, dealing with HNW clients. When she is not working on LYLG matters, Victoria is an amateur photographer and sits on the fundraising committee for the NRAS.

Please contact Victoria with any questions about the LYLG, all feedback is welcome and ideas encouraged!
