Join the team: Ambassador and Committee Applications are open!
ROLE: AMBASSADOR

If you are a legal professional working or studying in or around London, please consider applying for our AMBASSADOR role. The LYLG community is student level up to 7 PQE.

DEADLINE: Wednesday 18 January 2023 2pm.

That's right! We are recruiting new committee members. The LYLG has been running for over 10 years now and has hosted a range of exciting events (educational seminars, panel discussions, boat parties, networking at the Supreme Court, and much more!). Moving forward, the LYLG committee wants to continue the good work and use the community to raise awareness of important causes, contribute to a more inclusive industry and provide attendees with the opportunity to grow in a safe space.

What’s involved? As a LYLG Ambassador, you will play a key role in our social media and marketing materials. We organise regular events so we need the help of our ambassadors to create marketing materials, update our website and regularly post on our social media.

Requirements: you should be a legal professional or student (including University student, LPC/GDL student, paralegal, legal apprentice, trainee, undertaking the SQE training programme or qualified solicitor). We encourage you to be living in or commutable to London as our ambassadors help capture content at our events and so you can reap the benefits of being part of the team. You need to have the time and flexibility to support on ad hoc tasks, as well as commit to helping with a comms schedule amongst all the ambassadors.
Amongst developing your skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to meet peers in the industry, grow your own personal brand, work with our sponsors (law firms, recruiters, chambers, etc.) and be proud of contributing to our collaborative legal community. We encourage and welcome your ideas!

Data protection: please note that we may use your personal data for ambassador recruitment purposes to enable us to process applications for joining the LYLG ambassador team submitted via our website at: lylg.org.uk to assess your suitability for joining the LYLG ambassador team. The LYLG organisation will process your personal data on a legitimate interest basis to ensure that we can make the most appropriate committee recruitment decisions for the LYLG organisation.
